With GooSynch you can synchronize your Google Calendar with your mobile phone or PDA. There is a nice list of devices and pdas to synch with for free!!
Once you have selected your phone type, you can send yourself a configuration sms to install the synch connection-settings immediately.
I have an old sony ericsson 700i and can so easily download my calendar items.

If you don't want to tell GooSynch your Google Calendar Settings and Passwort, you can alternative synch via your Calendar Feed...nice ;-)
