Of course, you can use Google Reader offline with Gears or by using Google Chrome, but have a look at this new project called ReadAir.

ReadAir, a project still in development and can be downloaded from Google Code, provides an easy way to access your Google Reader RSS feeds on your desktop. It focuses on getting your feeds to you when you want it. You won’t have the extra social aspects like sharing and commenting on articles, but it is a great way to quickly read over your feeds from your desktop. (via)

A very interesting Adobe AIR application that makes it possible to draw fractal swirls.

By playing with the options like "points in use, line thickness, colors" it is possible to get very surprising results.
Drawn images can be exported as Illustrator files or saved as images.

Random Pattern

It lets you to create random patterns which you have control on some variables.
It is possible to define the "number of elements", "color scheme used", "width/height", "corner radius" of the objects.
Preset files can be loaded & results can be saved as .SVG files.

First, visit the Twistory site and enter in your Twitter username. Then you will be redirected to a page where you can subscribe to your tweet calendar in any one of a few different formats.

Twitter doesn't make more than your last 3000 tweets archived or searchable. But you can go store them going forward using Twistory and Google Calendar.

I had signed up for Twistory way back in late 2007 and added it to Google Calendar. However, I had forgotten all about it since I had that calendar hidden from the default view. I was delighted today when while tinkering that all of my tweets since have been archived! Here's how you can do the same for yours, at least going forward.
